Mark Oderwald

Mark Oderwald, 69, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Following Marks wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and there will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date. Mark Oderwald was born on November 24, 1945, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Harris and Irene (Behrens) Oderwald. He was retired and had worked for the Iowa Veterans Home and Arro Construction as a professional painter. His greatest passion was his cat Furrball The Furrs. Mark also enjoyed time with his family, fishing and watching NASCAR. Left to cherish Marks memory are his two daughters: Amy Oderwald and Melaine Oderwald; several brothers and sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Jerrad, his best friend and mother of his children, Maria Oderwald, and one brother, Darryl Hartman.
