Mark A. Wade

Mark Wade, 65, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. At this time cremation rites have been accorded and a family led celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Mark Anthony Wade was born August 15, 1955 in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Wendell and Irene (Krise). He grew up around the Ackley area and where he attended school within the AGWSR school district and later graduated from. He later went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University. In 1983, he was united in marriage to the love of his life Mary Ann Poock in Iowa falls and the two began their lives together. Mark and Mary Ann together raised their daughter April in Marshalltown where Mark worked for the United States Postal Service. They celebrated a number of years together until the time of Mary Ann’s passing. Mark, other than in college years had called home to Ackley and Marshalltown for over 34 years. In his free time, he was loved to study different meteorites, taking bow hunting trips, fishing trips, going golfing with his brothers, playing computer games and spending time with his granddaughter Liliana.Left to remember and cherish his memory are  his daughter April (Bob) Wade-Gardner; his granddaughter Liliana Gardner; his brothers Mike (Joanne) Wade and Brian (Connie) Wade; his parents Wendell Wade and Irene Krise-Schaeffer; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Wade and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
