Marlys Welp, 53, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Marshalltown and Cedar Rapids, diedJuly 31, 2007at Sarasota. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 10th, at St. Henrys Catholic Church with Fr. Don Czapla officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Haverhill. Friends may call at the church from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service. There will be no visitation. She graduated from the Marshalltown High Schools Class of 1972 and attended Mt. Mercy College in Cedar Rapids. Before moving to Florida, she was employed for many years at Lease America in Cedar Rapids.Left to mourn her loss are her daughter Abby Clemens, grandson Brylin and fianc Mike Panoske, all of Anamosa andson BJ Clemens, also of Anamosa, parents Cy and Aloah Welp of Marshalltown, five sisters and their families: Marcia and Tim Shore, Ryan, Alli and Lindsay of Marshalltown; Cindy and Fred Van Schepen, Ben and Drew of Waterloo; Brenda and Terry Pageler, Eric, Elsa and Rachel of Lenexa, Kansas; Deb and Matt Daniels, Maggie and Carter of LeMars, Iowa; and Renee and Frank Heindel, Frank, Jr., Joe and Nick of Mt.
