Mary Castillo

Mary K. Castillo, 73, of Marshalltown, formerly of Muscatine, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Iowa River Hospice Home. Friends and family are invited to a visitation for Mary on Friday, October 22 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Born Mary Katherine Britton on October 25, 1947 in Muscatine, she was the daughter of William and Doris (Myers) Britton. She graduated from Muscatine High School with the class of 1965. In 1992 she moved to Marshalltown, where she has since called home. In addition to being a wonderful mother, she enjoyed volunteering for a grandparents program and spending time with her family. She also loved reading, listening to Oldies music, chatting on the phone and going out to eat. Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Arlene (Robert) Adams; her children: William (Jennifer) Reddick, Melissa Espinoza and Nicholas Palmarez; grandchildren: Brandon Reddick, Jonathon Reddick, Logan Reddick, Cameron Reddick, Jenny Redick, Anthony Gonzales, Tiffany Gonzales, Cheyenne (Joseph) Hatch, Gaston Gonzalez and Diana Espinoza; 10 great-grandchildren; her aunt, Madge Britton and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. In death, she is reunited with her parents, William and Doris; her son, Keith Reddick and granddaughter, Krysten Reddick.
