Mary C. Jensen, 65, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at her home, with her loving family by her side. Memorial services for Mary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Public visitation will be held from 5:00 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home where her family will be present to greet friends. Moore was born on December 30, 1949, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn Moore and Mabel (Smith) Halverson. She was raised and educated in the Marshalltown School district. Mary was employed at Haleys and the Iowa Veterans Home. She loved spending time with her family, either watching videos of her great- granddaughter, Maleaha or treasuring the family picnics and BBQs. Mary also enjoyed playing the slot machines at the Casino and woodworking. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Shannon (Kevin) Frye, Amy Wood, Tracy (Tony) Savage and Chris (Ashley) Jensen; grandchildren: Brittany (Zach), Joey, Tiffany, Austin, Tyler, Owen, Alex, Rylen and Braiden; great-grandchildren: Maleaha and one great grandbaby on the way; siblings: Sharon (Bernard) Uhde, Bonnie Daniel, Delores (Jack) Kudelka and Glen (Roy) Moore; also many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother: Mabel Halverson, father: Glen Moore and step-father: Laverne Halverson.
