Mary Rose Niederhauser

Mary Rose Niederhauser, 82, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. A memorial service will be held on January 9, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Rose and her family. Mary Rose Rutledge was born on July 25, 1930 to Loren and Ervilla Belcher Rutledge in Maryville, Missouri and was raised in Grinnell, Iowa. Rose married Raymond Bud Niederhauser at Elim Lutheran Church in Marshalltown on February 1, 1947 and they spent most of their married life in Marshalltown. Rose loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Rose is survived by her daughters: Nancy (Randy) Rhodes of Marshalltown, Nickie Niederhauser of Marshalltown. Son: Donald (Jennifer) Niederhauser of Silver Lake, Wisconsin. Grandchildren: Joe Sutherland, Jim (Jessica) Sutherland, Jake (Lisa) Wildman, Eli (Shannon) Wildman, Isaac (Kara) Wildman, Sadie (Brett) Monaghan, Rachel (Vince) Gisch and Austin Niederhauser, Melissa Rhodes, John Rhodes, Brittany (Jake) McFarlane, Tyler Trnovec and Chelsie Boyle. Great Grandchildren: Mykal and Jack Wildman, Emma and Jaeden Wildman, Jonas and Stella Wildman, Vada, Sylvie and Gavin Monaghan, Addison Sutherland. Great Grandson, Sutherland, due in May, Jordan Rhodes and Jessica McFarlane.Her sister Barbara Rudolph.Rose is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bud, her parents, one brother and two sisters.
