Maximus Leonard- Hellum, 2 years, passed away in Des Moines, Iowa on June 27, 2019.    A Visitation for Maximus will be held at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2 at 10:30 a.m. with pastor Kerry Jech officiating. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Maximus and his family.    Maximus Xavier Leonard-Hellum was born on March 29, 2017 to parents Timothy and Amanda Leonard-Hellum in Marshalltown, Iowa. Although his time with us was short he still had many joys in his life. He enjoyed cars, listening to music, playing and studying all the different insects he could find, he was an adventurer, and a kid who loved to be outside.    Left to cherish his memory are his parents Timothy and Amanda; his brother A.J. Leonard-Hellum; grandparents Kathy Borton, Allan Leonard, Pat Hellum; Aunt Theresa Hellum; Uncle Danny (Kelsey) Leonard; as well as numerous cousins. In death, Maximus rejoins his grandpa Arthur Hellum; great- grandparents Viola Brown, Maxine Leonard, and Merle Leonard; and his uncle John Leonard.
