May Domine-Shahan Wilson (Phelps) passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at home. The family will greet friends from 3:00 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Mitchell Family funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Following visitation cremation rites will be accorded and interment will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. May D. was born January 24, 1915 to William and Mary Phelps in Bouten, Iowa. She retired after 33 years from the Security Savings Bank. Throughout her life she cherished her family time and enjoyed bowling, golfing, painting and playing the organ. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Tom Shahan of Marshalltown, IA; three step-children; Nikki Brewer of Des Moines, IA; Janet Gieger of Beaman, IA; Dennis Wilson of Phoenix, AZ; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In death, May rejoins her parents, three husbands: Myles Shahan, Edward Ball, and Clyde O. Wilson, two brothers, and one sister.
