Melvin C Schroyer

Melvin C. Schroyer, 55, of St Paul, Minnesota and formerly of Laurel, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at his home.

A Celebration of Life with a time of sharing for Melvin will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Melvin Schroyer was born on November 18, 1967 in Marshalltown to Ben and Nancy Thomasson Schroyer. He graduated from SEMCO High School in 1986 and went on to Iowa State University to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree. Melvin was united in marriage to Tammy Eickholt. He had worked for Education Minnesota as an IT Administrator. Melvin enjoyed riding his bike and going on RAGBRAI for several years. He sang in several bands and taught himself to play the guitar. Above all else, Melvin cherished the time he spent with his two boys.

Melvin is survived by his children: Isaac and Levi; parents: Ben and Nancy; wife: Tammy; brother: Randy (Heidi) Schroyer and their son, Antonio; and numerous other family and friends.
