Michael "Bubba" Raymond King

Michael “Bubba” King, 51, of Cresco, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Accura Health Care of Cresco.

Memorial services for Bubba will be held on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the family. Michael Raymond King was born on March 20, 1975 in DeKalb, Illinois. He was the son of Raymond King and Donna (Allison) Mancillas. Michael graduated from High School in Rockford, Illinois. Michael was a member at Seventh Day Adventist where he later was baptized. He previously worked at the Mid-Iowa Workshop in Marshalltown. He loved watching WWF, WWE wrestling and enjoyed music but his favorites were Elvis, Michael Jackson and Johnny Cash. Michael loved to spend time with his family, especially his mom which he loved so much

Michael is survived by his siblings: Chris (Jim) Macklin of Illinois, Cathy Dunston of Florida, and Caryn Jacobson of Gilman, Iowa. He is also survived by his step-father: Ray Mancillas of Marshalltown, his auntie Jodi Allison of Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his parents; niece: Tabbithia Watts and Cassie Cantrell, along with his maternal and paternal grandparents.
