Michael Joseph Church 76, died, Thursday, February 17,2011 at Grandview Heights Nursing Home in Marshalltown, Iowa while under the care of Iowa Hospice.There will be no services at this time. Phone 641-844-1234.Michael Joseph Church was born on January 7, 1935 in Poland, he was educated in the area of his birth, and his family eventually moved to the United States living in Davenport, Iowa and the last 2 years has lived in Marshalltown to be close to his granddaughter. Mike had married Gloria Hall and they had lived in Davenport where he was employed as a baker. Mike loved to gamble, enjoyed a good meal and always looked for an opportunity to drive his Cadillac.Left to cherish Mikes memory is his granddaughters: Sarah (John) Whitehead of Marshalltown and Leah Kirby of New York, his great-grandchildren; Chloe, TJ and Mara.Mike was preceded in death by his sons William and Keith Kirby
