Michael Harris , 55, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on February 7, 2014, in Marshalltown. Michael Ray Harris was born on May 17, 1958, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was the son of Ray and Nancy (Wertz) Harris. Mike attended school in the SEMCO Community School District. He resided in the Marshalltown area and worked at Swifts for a number of years. Mike enjoyed watching football, basketball, the Hawkeyes, NASCAR and his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Chad (Jessica) Harris of LeGrand, Iowa; grandchildren: Kyle and Marshall Harris; parents, Nancy Harris of Marshalltown, Iowa, andRay (Kathy) Harris of New Virginia, Iowa; brother, Tom (Judy) Harris of Polk City, Iowa; sister, Becky (Matt) Phillips of Indianola, Iowa; nieces: Emma Rae and Amy Lynn Phillips; and step-niece and nephew, Allysa and Ryan Nichols. In death Mike rejoins his grandparents and nephew, Tyler Harris.
