Michael Mike Prazak 46 of Marshalltown passed away at home on Sunday, August 7, 2011.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011 at St Marys Catholic Church in Marshalltown. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. vigil on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family. Phone 641-844-1234.Michael James Prazak was born at St. Thomas Hospital in Marshalltown, Iowa on December 3, 1964; he was the son of John and Helen (Miller) Prazak Jr. He attended school in the Marshalltown school district graduating from Marshalltown High School with the class of 1983. Mike had worked at Lennox for the past 25 years. Mike was amember of the local UAW and St Marys Catholic Church in Marshalltown. He enjoyed NASCAR, Barbequing, TV sports of all kinds, growing things inside and out, but themost important thing to Mike was his family and will be remembered as a guy who would do anything for anyone.Left to cherish Mikes memory is his mother; Helen Prazak of Marshalltown, his sisters; Luann Rietenbaugh of Toledo, and Carlene Prazak of Marshalltown, niece and nephew Christopher Reitenbaugh of Tennessee, and Kimberly (Nate) Cooney of Oregon and great nieces and nephews; Kayla and Christopher Reitenbaugh and Caelum and Rose Cooney.Mike was preceded in death by his father, John in 1996, Brother Phillip in 1985, his longtime companion of 25 years Tonya Snyder, and his grandparents; William and Francis Miller and Virginia Prazak and John Prazak Sr.
