Michael Saville

Michael Saville, 69, of Marshalltown, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.

Memorial services for Michael will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Iowa Veterans Home Chapel in Marshalltown. Michael Saville was born on January 7, 1954 in Mount Ayr, Iowa. He was the son to Franklin G. and Nellie F. (Bethel) Saville. After high school, Michael served his country honorably in the United States Army. He had lived in Missouri, Florida and Colorado, before calling Iowa home. He had previously worked as a sanitation engineer. Michael enjoyed fishing, football, baseball and hunting.

Michael is survived by his daughter: Jessica Saville; siblings: Debra (Paul) Schmeling of Altoona, Danny (Cindy) Saville of Versailles, Missouri and Billy (Pam) Bethel of Northern Iowa as well as other extended family and friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his son Joshua and parents: Franklin and Nellie.
