Michael Robert Spinner

Michael Robert Spinner, 69, of Marshalltown, passed away on September 28, 2014. Michael was born on February 4, 1945, in Waukon, Iowa, to parents, Raymond Joseph and Adele (Severson) Spinner. After high school he spent four years in the Air Force, which involved a tour of Viet Nam for one year. He also attended Western Wisconsin Tech for two year, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. On January 10, 1970, Michael married Kathleen Adams at St. Patricks Church in Waukon, Iowa. He made his career selling automotive and truck parts. Michael loved to golf and bowled in his free time. Michael is survived by his wife, Kathleen; daughter, Michelle (Kurt Simeno) Spinner-Simeno of Iowa City; and Michael Mike J. Spinner of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and grandson, Beau Simeno. He is also survived by a sister, Janet Gunderson of Fairbanks, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond J. and Adele (Severson) Spinner and seven siblings.
