Michael Stanley Sr. 64, of Albion, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. A Memorial gathering in honor of Michaels life will be held at Mitchell Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at 9a.m. to 12, burial to follow at Albion Cemetery. Michael Lee Stanley was born on June 30, 1950, in Marshalltown, Iowa; he was the son of Herbert and Barbara (Miller) Stanley. He attended school in the Marshalltown Community School District. After high school, Michael was united in marriage to Marsha in Marshalltown, to this union a daughter, Melanie was born. Michael and Marsha later divorced and remarried to Deanna Bolle in Marshalltown, to this union, three more children were born; Brian, Michelle and Michael Jr. Michael worked for Bob Anson on his farm and was later employed by GRA Iron where he worked for many years. Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing, but the most important time was spent with his children and grandchildren. Michaels grandchildren were his life and very important to him and he loved them deeply. Michael is survived by his children: Melanie Keller of Tama, Brian (Karen) Stanley of Liscomb, Michelle and special friend Lee Blouin of Baxter, and Michael Stanley Jr. of Albion, Brad (Lexi) Stanley and Tony Stanley all of Cedar Rapids, Grandchildren: Josh Keller, Samantha Howell, Austin Stanley, Braven Blouin , Landon, Cecilia, Sienna, Axl and Leo Stanley. Bradlee, Bryson, Aubree, Rebecca and Easton. Siblings: Loyce (Janice) Stanley of Albion, Larry (Connie) Stanley of Conrad, Claude Stanley of Melbourne, Rick (Sandy) Stanley of Gladbrook, Debbie (Joe) Robinson of Marshalltown, Connie (Mike) Matney of Centerville, and Cindy and Gary Stanley of Marshalltown. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Barbara Stanley, his second wife: Deanna Stanley and granddaughter, Maranda Stanley.
