Michael Duane Stewart, age 69, passed away after a long illness at Accura Healthcare of Marshalltown, Iowa on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. He was born April 17, 1956 in Marshalltown to Frederick and Donna Stewart of Clemons.
Michael worked at Kiowa Corporation for many years. He is survived by his sister Mary Stewart of Marshalltown, his brother John Stewart of Ankeny; and his nephews: Brent Stewart of Osceola, IA. and Brady Stewart of Springdale, AR. and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services. He will be buried near his parents at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mike and his family.
