Michael Strom

Michael Strom, 39, of Marshalltown died Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Michaels family are planning a memorial service to be held at a future date. Born Arling Michael Strom on March 26th, 1970 in Jackson, Michigan, he was the son of Albert and Sally (Moore) Strom. Michaels family then moved to Houston, TX where he was raised, and attended school. Michael attended college to become an auto mechanic, as well as a chef. On August 26th, 2006, Michael was united in marriage to Robin Zitzow, in Marshalltown. Michael owned and operated Sun Automotive in Marshalltown. He enjoyed working on cars, stockcar racing and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Left to celebrate Michaels life is his wife Robin; step-children Katie (Jeremy Baker) Kempf, Karly Zitzow and Justin Zitzow; step-grandchildren Madison and Cameron Baker; sister Lori Strom; and brothers Ronnie and Gary Strom. In death, Michael has rejoined his grandparents, parents, and good friend Ronnie Lot.
