Michelle Christine Morrison, 32, of Steamboat Rock, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

Michelle was born April 12, 1990 in Grinnell, Iowa to parents Christopher and Kimberly (Kriegel) Morrison. Growing up, Michelle was known for being herself unapologetically and forging her own path, which allowed her to live a life full of adventure and experiences that she was not afraid to bring any and everyone with her on. In 2010, she met the love of her life, Rodney Sizemore, and they made their home in Steamboat Rock, where they raised their two children. She worked as a tax associate at H&R Block. She had a crafty side, enjoying candle-making and diamond art. Her sense of humor and laughter was one of a kind, causing anyone to shed a tear from laughing so hard. She loved everyone in her life fiercely, and she always made time to let that be known. Her infectious smile, beautiful eyes, and outgoing personality could take charge of a room and bring out the best in everyone, forming many meaningful relationships and friends along the way. She was loved dearly by her family and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her significant other, Rodney Sizemore and their daughters, E’Lara and Luna; her mother, Kim Morrison of Newton, IA; her siblings: Samantha (Jason) Bogue of Tama, Courtney (Tyler) Schulmeister of Whitten, Nichole Switzer of Marshalltown, Katlyn Morgan (Alex) of Reinbeck, Ashley (Tim) Bell of Grundy Center and Christian (Haleigh) Morrison of Newton; nieces and nephews: Jordan, Dakota, Caleb, Landon, Lela, Sebastian, Jay, Jemri, Jewel, Clara, Star, Christine and one niece on the way; grandmother, Jo Kriegel; Tammy Morrison; her aunts: Lori Kriegel and Dee Smith and uncle Brad Morrison, as well as numerous loved ones from all over.

Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Chris Morrison and her grandparents.
