Mildred Lang

Mildred (Micky) Lucille Lang, born October 30, 1920, passed away on 15 February 2014. She was the daughter of Ernest & Nettie Hauser. Micky graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1938 and Iowa Beauty School in 1940. In 1942, she married Harold L. Lang in Waynesville, MO. They had two sons, Vern (East Kingston, NH) and Rick Lang (Double Oak, TX). Harold passed away Nov 15, 1991. Micky worked many years as a "hair dresser" in Des Moines & Marshalltown. She was a member of the Central Christian Church where she was an active participant of the Christian Women's Fellowship - "Merry Mixers Club". She also was a long time participant in the W.I.B.C. Bowling League in Marshalltown. Micky has one living brother Vernon Hauser and wife Lois in MN, and four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren Scott Lang (Cameron and Tanner), Chad Lang and wife Julie (Tehya, Colton, and Taryn), Angie Gofredo and husband Florian (Melissa and Lukas) and Chris Lang. Micky is preceded in death by her husband Harold, parents Ernest & Nettie Hauser, two sisters, Wilma Krough and Cleo Sellers and two brothers Cyril Hauser and Donald Hauser. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery on Monday, 24 February 2014.
