Milton Wesley Wes Eoff, 88, of Caldwell, Texas, passed away on the morning of Monday, June 13th, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Memorial services will be held in Caldwell, Texas, this July. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Wes and his family. 641-844-1234. Born on September 7th, 1927, in Alice, Texas, he was one of two sons born to Milton and Lois Eoff. He received his education in the area of his birth and later served our country honorably in two tours- first being in the Merchant Marines at the end of WWII and the second being in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Eoff was a successful salesman who had a colorful career selling anything from golf equipment to automobiles. He especially leaned towards Buick and Chevy unless it was a truck, then it had to be Ford. He was married to Marjorie Sue Faubion and to this union, he became dad to his son, John Thomas Ruddock. Sue passed away five years ago and Wes remained in Caldwell until coming to Marshalltown in May to be near his son and family. Wes loved the game of golf, an occasional night of poker, and spending time with friends. Left to cherish his memory are his son, John Thomas Tom Ruddock and his wife Gina of Marshalltown; grandsons Payton (Samantha) and Chase and friends in Caldwell, TX. In death, Wes rejoined his parents, wife Sue and brother, Dick. Memorials may be directed to Iowa River Hospice.
