Murdie Fisher

Murdie Fisher, 81, of Maple Lake, Minnesota and formerly of State Center, Iowa, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Funeral services for Murdie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown with burial to follow at Clemons Cemetery. Murdie Pritchett was born on July 2, 1943. She was the daughter of Murdie T. and Faye J. (Long) Pritchett. She had previously been married to the father of her three children: Doyle Sillyman, and later was united in marriage to David Paul Fisher on May 23, 1981 in Clemons and they called State Center home. Murdie enjoyed reading, dancing, doing crossword puzzles and watching game shows. Above all else, Murdie enjoyed spending time with her family.

Murdie is survived by her children: Sherry (Mark) Gianetto, Clint Sillyman, Brenda (Les) Weber and step daughter: Paula (Monty) Rouzer; grandchildren: Kyle Weber, Shanna (Zach) Nordling, Abby (Sean) Anderson, Carl Gianetto and step-grandchildren: Josh (Allie) Kokemiller and Katie Kokemiller. She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Axle, Isaiah, Calvin, Tobias, Dash, Mila, Evie, Baker and four step great-grandchildren. Murdie is also survived by her siblings: Carolyn Sillyman, Don Pritchett, Kenny Pritchett, Roy Pritchett, Reta Langloss and Vicky Grage.

Murdie is preceded in death by her husband, David; brother: Larry Pritchett and parents: Faye and Murdie.
