Nada “Pink” Holiday Ruhl, 75 of Tama, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Unity Point Health-Allen Hospital in Waterloo. Cremation rites have been accorded and there are currently no services for Nada. Memorials may be directed to the family. Nada Hanus was born on December 30, 1946 at the home in Tama County to Vince and Nada Hardon Hanus. Nada was united in marriage to Clarence “Clancy” Ruhl in 1995 at The Little Brown Church in the Vale, in Nashua, IA. She was retired from Fisher Control. Nada had previously been a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the American Legion. She enjoyed waterskiing and tubing in younger years, cooking, crocheting, word and jigsaw puzzles, and was an avid animal lover – having had horses, fainting goats and pot belly pigs years ago and has always had dogs and cats. Nada is survived by her husband of 26 years, Clancy. Children: Beverly Hanus of Marshalltown and Sandra (Greg) Moore of Toledo. Grandchildren: Joe, Holly, Kalina (Zach), Anthony and Jason. Great grandchildren: Bri, Dominick, Kenna, Lucas, Hadley, and Savannah Nada-Clare. Siblings: Tom (Jo Ann) Hanus of Tama and Katherine “Tig” (Mark) Croskrey of Tama along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Nada is preceded in death by her parents; Vince and Nada; siblings: Ervin Hanus, Hazel White, Betty Anderson and Henry Hanus in infancy and her sister-in-law Fran Ruhl.
