Nadine Snider

Nadine (Hunt) Snider, 85, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be Monday, July 31, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. The family will have a private burial. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Nadine and her family. Nadine Elsie Renfro was born on February 14, 1932, in Lake City, Iowa; she was the daughter of Albert and Nancy (Mills) Renfro. She attended Lake City Community Schools. Nadine was united in marriage to Robert J. Hunt in January 1947 and they moved to Marshalltown, Iowa in 1950. He passed away in October of 1967. Nadine married Thomas Snider in October of 1968. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 48 years, Thomas; daughter, Linda (Tom) Shollenbarger of Marshalltown, Iowa and son, Gary Hunt of Cedar Rapids/ Marshalltown, Iowa; grandchildren, Sarah Hunt of Frisco, Texas and Connor Hunt of Marshalltown, Iowa; 2 great grandchildren of Frisco, Texas; stepchildren, Steve Snider and Penny Snider; several step-grandchildren; and two sisters. In death Nadine rejoins her parents, Albert and Nancy; first husband, Robert J. Hunt; two brothers and three sisters.
