Nancy Doran

Nancy J. Doran, 84, of Liscomb, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown. Memorial services by the family will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Liscomb. Memorials may be directed to the family. Nancy Jennings was born on November 6, 1937 in Marshalltown to Herbert and Inez (Carkhuff) Jennings. She graduated from Le Grand High School in 1956. On May 18, 1959, Nancy was united in marriage to Marvin Doran. She had been employed with Marshalltown Trowel Company for twenty five years. Nancy enjoyed fishing, gardening, and crafts and loved children. Above all else, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family and the church. Nancy also taught Sunday School and was loved by everyone she knew. Nancy is survived by her children: Allen Doran, Steve Doran, Annette Koch and Cindy O’Clair; twelve grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; son, Roy Doran; granddaughter, Nicole O’Clair and son-in-law, Rob O’Clair.
