Nora Arlean Chase

Nora Arlean “Mo” Chase, 71, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on the morning of Friday, October 26, 2018 at Unity Point Health Hospital in Marshalltown, Iowa. Nora Arlean Albee was born on April 15, 1947 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Norman and Lois (Williams) Albee.  She was raised and educated in the Marshall County School district where she attended school.  On March 16, 1965, Nora was united in marriage to the love of her life, Gerald Chase in Nevada, Iowa.  Nora was a wonderful cook and spent her working years as a Dietary Supervisor at Marshalltown Manor as well as the Iowa Veterans Home for many years.  She had a passion for cooking big meals, fishing, playing card games, and most importantly was the time she spent with her family and friends. Left to cherish Nora’s memory are her children: Bob (Michele) Chase and Tana (K.C.) Yu; grandchildren: Alesha, Lenny, Nicole, Curtis, Michael, Rebeca and Marissa; 12 great-grandchildren: siblings: Dale (Gwen) Albee, Ed (Carolyn) Albee and Norma Alveraz. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Chase; three children: Jody, Tracy and Gerald Jr. “Butch”; as well as one great-grandson: Kevin Jr.
