Norma Reynolds, 81, of Nevada, died early Monday morning, November 1, at the Story Medical Senior Care in Nevada while in the care of her loving family and the Iowa Hospice. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 3rd, at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Schmidt on November 2nd, 1928, in Ceylon, MN, she was the daughter of Herman and Zola (Jorgensen) Schmidt. She graduated from the Ceylon High School in 1946.On January 31st, 1953, she was united in marriage to Robert Lester Les Reynolds in Des Moines. They resided in Des Moines, Newton, Spencer, Royal, and Okoboji, Iowa until moving to Sedona and later Sun City, Arizona. The couple moved to Nevada, Iowa, in 2002, to be near family. In Royal, she was an active member of the Methodist Church, the church circle and taught Sunday school. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed family functions. Left to cherish her memory are Robert Lester Reynolds-Les, her loving husband of 57 years, nine monthes and one day, children Tammy (Michael) Montague of Nevada and Scot (Shanna) Reynolds of Round Rock, TX, grandchildren: Tasha Eisenhower of Hutto, TX, Michelle Logue of Grimes, Iowa, Braydn Reynolds of Lincoln, NE, Melissa Sprouse of Nevada, Iowa, Samantha Reynolds and Alexandra Reynolds both of Round Rock, TX; great-grandchildren- Dawson, Tyler and Noah and one on the way, her sisters Darlene Geiser of Dresser, WI, Donna Uram of Corona del Mar, CA., and brother Dennis Schmidt of St. Croix Beach, MN., as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends Janice and Ernie Stoermer of Royal. In death, she rejoined her parents, step-father Gary Van Hueman and brothers Marlan, Daryl and Roger Schmidt.
