Opal Mae Herbert, 86, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Cremation rites have been accorded and there are no services planned. For further information or to send a condolence, please visit www.mitchellfh.com or call (641) 844-1234. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Opal and her family. Opal is survived by her daughter; Susan Wall, daughter in law; Susan Lura, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Opal is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Herbert and son Mick Lura.
