Pablo Vargas Garcia

Pablo Vargas Garcia, age 2, of Marshalltown, earned his angel wings on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

Services for Pablo will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will start prior to the service, beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Pablo Vargas Garcia was born on July 26, 2022 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of Raul Vargas and Adriana Garcia. Pablo loved Buzz Lightyear, Toy Story and Minions. He enjoyed running, playing with his brother and loved sleeping next to his parents in bed. Pablo would yell “Papa” when his dad came back from work and would hit the windows. He loved being outside doing anything. Pablo also liked to swim and loved all types of food, and if you were eating, he would make sure he had some as well. Pablo loved the colors blue and green, enjoyed listening to music, an animal lover and liked going to the park with his cousins.

Along with his parents, Raul and Adriana, Pablo is also survived by his brother: Raul Mateo; grandparents: Teresa and Raul Vargas and Sara and Moises Garcia.

Pablo is preceded in death by his great grandparents: Benito and Maria and great grandma Kadner along with his great-great grandparents: Valentin and Virginia Vargas and Pedro Cervantes.
