Pamela Sue Baumbach

Pamela Sue Baumbach, 54, of rural Marshalltown, died November 1, 2010 at home.A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. (Elliott) Cox, Pam was educated in the area of her birth. On June 6, 1974 she married Ron Baumbach in Red Oak, Iowa. They later divorced. She had lived in the Marshalltown, Melbourne and State Center area. Pam never knew a stranger and had many friends. She was known for her love of hats.Pam loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a great cook and her family was a recipient of that joy of hers, she enjoyed shooting pool, darts, bowling, gardening and she loved her many cats. Pamela and Dennis loved to travel.Left to cherish her memory is her companion of 12 plus years, Dennis Zitzow of Marshalltown, her father;,Elton, her daughter Roxanne (David) Mercer of Jefferson City, Missouri, her stepdaughter Ali Harrelson of Des Moines, her grandchildren Madison and Dakota Mercer and Pams brother David (Jessica) Cox of State Center and a host of friends and extended family.Pam was preceded in death by her mother Ruth.
