Patricia Bloomquist

Patricia Annette (Wilson) Bloomquist, 81, of Marshalltown, passed away at the Iowa River Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, July 27, 2014. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no formal services. Patricia Pat Wilson was born September 29, 1932, to Etta (Jenkins) and Paul Wilson, in Marshalltown where she lived her entire life. Pat attended Marshalltown schools and graduated in 1950. She married Richard Bloomquist on September 25, 1952. They were blessed with four children: Paul, Michael, Anita (Michael) Aurand, and Robert. Pat worked as a secretary at various businesses. Pat and Dick opened an auto repair business was the bookkeeper until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds, and reading.
