Patricia Patsy Burroughs, 73, of 1 West Grant Street, Marshalltown, died Monday, June 25th, at her home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 29th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Fr. Louis Jaeger of St. Henrys Parish officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Riverside Cemetery with a time of fellowship and refreshments to follow at the home of Pat and Natalie, 208 Sherman Street in Liscomb. Born Patricia Ann DuFour on September 21st, 1933, in Escanaba, Michigan, she was the daughter of Jerry and Lucille (Trepanier) DuFour. She graduated from the Tama High Schools Class of 1952. On June 4th, 1955, she was united in marriage to Don Burroughs in Tama, Iowa. They made Marshalltown their home where she was employed at Marshall Print until her retirement and then at Wal-Mart. Patsy enjoyed shopping, coffee with her friends, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Left to celebrate her life is her children, Pat (Natalie) Burroughs and Mike (Joni) Burroughs, grandchildren: Ed and Lucy Burroughs, Jesse and Casey Ryan and Cory Burroughs, her siblings: Jean (Jess) Brown, Geraldine (George) Hayek, Joe (Phyllis) DuFour and Mary (Dana) Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In death she has rejoined her husband, Don, her parents and grandson Sam.
