Pat Collins, 61, of Union, Iowa passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Iowa River Hospice home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Calvary Baptist Church in Union, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family. Patricia Louise Wingrove was born on December 14, 1954, in Denison, Iowa; she was the daughter of Don and Joan (McDonald) Wingrove. After high school Pat went on and received her R.N. Degree from Marshalltown Community College. She would put that degree to use working for the Eldora Hospital, Home Healthcare, and Mercy Medical Center, in Des Moines, in the Intensive Care Unit. On May 16, 1975, Patricia was united in marriage to Kim Collins in Eldora, Iowa. The two made their lives in Union and raised two children. Pat enjoyed to garden, crafts, Bible Study and had a great love for her grandkids. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 41 years, Kim of Union, Iowa and her children, K.C. (Kelly) Collins their children Erin, Evan and Emmett and Chad (Priscilla) Collins and their daughter, Miriam.
