Patricia Pat Koch, 70, of Marshalltown died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center with her family by her side. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home where the family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Born Patricia Ann Keck on November 22, 1943, in Liberty, Nebraska to Kenneth and Edna Keck. She grew up and lived in Nebraska for many years where she met her future husband Wayne Koch. Pat and Wayne were married on June 23, 1963, in Wymore, Nebraska. Pat enjoyed many things in life but especially loved spending time with her family, cooking, painting, poetry, and gardening. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Wayne Koch; sons: Bryan (Suzan) Koch of Panama City, FL, Daryl Koch (Jeanette Vajgrt) of Marshalltown, IA; and Robert (Jennifer) Koch of Bozeman, MT; grandchildren: Kyleigh, Ashleigh, and Presleigh; step dad, Vern Powell; siblings: Lindy Powell, Bill Powell, and Sue Ellen Gray.
