Patricia Clair Loffgren, 63, of Marshalltown, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Memorial visitation for Trish will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Patricia Clair Lenning was born on March 31, 1957 in Marshalltown to Gaylord and Janice Kersey Lenning. She graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1975. Patricia married Douglas Loffgren on February 2, 1977 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa and to this union a son, Alexander Douglas was born, whom Trish referred to as her “precious moment”. Trish and Doug later divorced. Trish later reunited with Max Hutchens, who was the love of her life. Trish, along with her siblings, worked for many years at the Thunderbird Restaurant and she later worked at Elmwood Country Club, as well as the store manager at Casey’s in Albion and was partially retired when she worked at Hy Vee. Trish, along with her sisters, loved to read although she never knew who the author was of what she had read and she also enjoyed the bowling league she was on with Max. Trish is survived by her son, Alex (Haley); two grandsons, Ashton and Bennett; mother, Janice Lenning; and her four siblings: Mary Anne Lenning, Erick (Diane) Lenning, Carolyn Rogers and Dan (Kathy) Lenning. She is also survived by her five nieces and nephews; three great niece and nephews, many cousins and Max Hutchens. Trish was preceded in death by her father, Gaylord Lenning; brother-in-law, Rick Rogers; and her grandparents.
