Patricia Yordy

Patricia Yordy, 85, of Evansdale, Iowa, passed away on the afternoon of April 5, 2024 at Unity Point Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services will be held at this time. Memorials in Patricia’s name may be directed to her family for a later designation. Patricia Eva Flick was born July 1, 1938 in Eldora, Iowa. She was the oldest of three children born to Leonard and Veva (Manning) Flick. She grew up in Whitten, Iowa and was among the first class to graduate as part of the combined Union/Whitten School District in 1957.

Patricia was united in marriage to Roger W. Yordy on September 21, 1974. She worked for many companies doing secretarial work in and then went to working for Martin Brothers in Waterloo as a secretary before she would eventually retire. In her free time, she enjoyed going bowling and knitting. Her husband Roger passed in 2009 and Patricia became a resident of Evansdale.

Those left to remember and cherish her memory are her two sisters alongside nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roger Yordy.
