Patsy Ann Halverson 71, of Marshalltown went peacefully to be with the Lord ThursdayMarch 28, 2013, after her courageous fight with cancer, under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Funeral services will be held on at 1:30 on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the Liberty Baptist Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. There will be no visitation. She was the daughter of Frank and Ruth Stotts. Patsy attended school in the Marshalltown School District graduating with the class of 1959. Patsy was united in marriage to Larry J. Halverson June 9, 1961, at the Elim Lutheran Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. They were blessed with two children: Michael and Tracy. Patsy worked at Bell Telephone Company for a few years and then became a housewife. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, spending time with family and friends, and she loved her church. Patsy is survived by her husband, Larry, of 50 years; son, Michael (Susan) Halverson of Virginia; daughter, Tracy Halverson Frank (Faith) California. Patsy is proceeded is death by her parents, Frank and Ruth; her brother, Frank; and sister, Betty. Patsy will be greatly missedtill we meet again in Heaven.
