Pauls life was not complete until he met Mary Jayne Otto. Paul and Jayne were married in Nevada, Iowa on July 7, 1962. Paul worked for ACI Mechanical for over 40 years as a heating and cooling supervisor. Besides being a hard worker Paul loved the outdoors, he was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. His first deer was one to remember. He had a shot lined up and fired an arrow only to see the deer run off. Confused by the situation Paul took a closer look only to find his arrow had hit a tree just wide enough to stop the arrow. Being the good hunter he was, he chopped down the tree and brought it home as a trophy of his first deer. Besides fishing and hunting Paul was a very active member of the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Isaac Walton League. During his time with the Boy Scouts of America Paul was honored to receive the title of District Boy Scouts Master. When Paul wasnt outside in the woods he could be found working in his garage, building chests and cabinets. If you couldnt find Paul, a good place to look was in his folding chair in his garage. Paul has touched many lives and will always be remembered for his work ethic and his love to help anyone. Left to cherish Pauls memory are his wife of 53 years, Jayne; his children, Brian (Tami) Bullock of Adel, Kristine (David) Barnes of Denton, TX, and David Bullock of Marshalltown; grandchildren: Whitney (Adam) Rairden, Abbi Bullock, Kyle and Jason Barnes, Jessica (Alex) Preston, Thomas Greenwood, and Amber Bullock; his great granddaughter, Emma Rairden; his sisters, Eileen Surber of Urbandale, Annabelle (Carl) Springer of Redding, CA; and sister-in-law, Harriet J. Bullock of Waterloo, and several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Allen (Harriet) Bullock, Frank Runt (Loretta) Bullock, Sherman Junior Bullock; brother-in-law, Carol Surber; sisters-in-law, Harriett A. Bullock and Loretta Bullock.
