Paul Minier, 85 of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a private burial. Paul Truman Minier was born in Jordons Grove, Iowa; he was the son of Matilda Minier. Paul attended school in the area of his birth. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. When he returned he made his home in Cedar Rapid, Iowa and worked in the trucking business. He enjoyed fishing and gambling. Paul will be remembered as a kind and giving soul. Left to cherish his memory is a cousin, Glenn and Carolyn Sue Williams of Cedar Rapids, Iowa
