Paul Shore, 62, of rural Liscomb, died Wednesday night, June 6, in the comfort of his home with his family at his side. A gathering and visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Please come in casual attire, drive your classic car and share memories with the family. Private interment rites will be in the Bethel Grove Cemetery near Liscomb. Born on June 6, 1950, in Marshalltown, he was the son of Arthur Red and Marilynn (Wiley) Shore. Paul was employed most recently with Midwest Liquid Systems and previously with Action Auto, Dayco for 20 years and Anderson Distributing. He was a member of the Albion Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed classic cars, tractors, car shows and swap meets, racing, being on his farm and time with his grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory is his children: Rusty L. (Ashley) Shore of Ankeny and Nicole M. (Dave) Cruzan of Wellsburg, sister Lynnece K. (James) Matherly of Marshalltown, grandchildren Bailey Ann and Bryce Cruzan and Garrett Shore, step-mother Betty Shore of Marshalltown, step-sister Susan R. McLaughlin of Onawa, aunts: Martha (Lowell) Keller and Virginia A. (Charles) Sloat all of Marshalltown, uncle Oscar Gene Sloat of Marshalltown and many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as a host of friends. In death, he rejoined his parents, his uncle Bill Shore and grandparents.
