Paul Edward Tomlinson

Paul Edward Tomlinson, 78, of Marshalltown, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at his home.

Paul Tomlinson was born on April 21, 1947 in Toledo, Iowa. He was the son of Warren Beaman and Hazel Dorothy (DePew) Tomlinson. Paul graduated from South Tama High School in 1965. He would later join the United States Army Reserves. On February 23, 1970, Paul was united in marriage to Kathy Wood. From this union, they had two daughters: Tanya and Lisa. They would later divorce. Paul was a gas and lineman for Alliant Energy, retiring on April 25, 2006.

Paul is survived by his children: Tanya (Eric) Riepe of Boulder Creek, California and Lisa (Loren) Wagaman of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Haley Steffen of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and Raven Steffen of Western Port, Maryland. He is also survived by his siblings: David Tomlinson of Urbandale, Iowa and Dorothy Burgess of Prairie City, Iowa.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents: Warren and Hazel; brothers: Gary, Keith and Bill along with his ex-wife: Kathy.
