Paulette Glenn 67, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at home surrounded by her family and under the care of Iowa River Hospice. A public visitation and gathering will be held from 4-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family. Born Paulette Rae Corwin on November 8, 1945, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Vincent and Madeline (Dietrich) Corwin. She received her education in the area of her birth. Paulette was united in marriage to Frank Glenn, they later divorced and she was united in marriage to Tim Switzer she was very blessed with five wonderful children. Family was the center of Paulettes life and she enjoyed cooking for all of them at gatherings. She also enjoyed bingo and trips to the casino, she also enjoy her gossip time with friends and never afraid to speak her mind. Paulette was employed at the Marshall County Home, IVH and the Times-Republican. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Frank (Dixie) Glenn of Marshalltown, Jody (Harry) Johnson of Union, Michael (Bobbie) Glenn of Marshalltown, Chrissy (Damon) Spencer of Marshalltown, and Sean Switzer (April Stanley) of Marshalltown as well as nine dear grandchildren, six precious great-grandchildren, three brothers, three sisters and many nieces, nephews and friends. In death, she rejoined her parents, a brother and a sister.
