Pearl Mull

Pearl Mull, 79, of Marshalltown, died Thursday, April 16th, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 20th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Brant of the E-Free Church officiating. Born Pearl Nielson on August 22nd, 1935, in Nevada, Iowa, she was the daughter of Arthur and Opal (Badger) Nielson. She received her education in the Marshalltown Public Schools. On February 28th, 1952, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jack Mull, at the 1st Friends Church in Marshalltown. Marshalltown was always home where she was a loving wife and mom to four boys. Pearl loved her family and was blessed when the day came she had grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart, camping in years past and family dinners. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons- Rick (Deb) Mull, Sr. and David (Sheryl) Mull, Sr.; grandchildren- Chad (Lisa) Mull, Tony (Steph) Becker, Jennifer (Rusty)Mason, Julie (Freddie) Carbajol, Timmy (Julie) Mull, Johnny (Emily) Mull, Jr., Ricky (Angie) Mull, Jr., David (Jenn) Mull, Jr. Danny Mull, Vicki Hughes, Beth (Evan) Rodamaker and the blessing of many great-grandchildren. In death, Pearl rejoined her loving husband Jack who died on November 18th, 2013, her sons Mike and John Mull, granddaughter Echo Mull, sister Esther and brothers Ray and Roy.
