Phyllis Penny Heinzer, 75, of Marshalltown, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama, IA.Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Nelson was bornJanuary 26, 1937 in Eveleth, Minnesota; she was the daughter of Arthur and Helia Nelson. She attended and graduated school in Orr, MN. She was united in marriage to Dale Heinzer on August 13, 1963. Penny had lived in Cohasset, MN until she moved twelve years ago to Marshalltown, IA. She will always be remembered for her cookies, her wonderful baking, and taking care of her family. She loved being a mother and grandmother.She is survived by her children: Arthur Heinzer of Des Moines, IA, Randy Heinzer of Circle Pines, MN, Joyce (Rick) Clarin of Mounds View, MN, and Robin Heinzer of Marshalltown, IA; her grandchildren: Harley, Dale, Nick, and Diane; her great-grandson to be; her siblings: Russell, Eleanor, Betty, Rosie, Douglas, Duane; andher cat, Bubba.She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and daughter-in-law, Linda Heinzer.
