Phyllis E Lolley

Phyllis E. Lolley, 88, of Marshalltown passed away peacefully at Grandview Heights Rehab & Healthcare on September 24th, 2019 with her family by her side. A Memorial Funeral Mass is planned for Saturday, September 28th at 9:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish -St. Mary Church, Marshalltown. Private family entombment will occur at a later date. Phyllis was born on July 31, 1931 in Elmont, Long Island, New York to Joseph and Hazel (Ashton) Caporale.  On May 18, 1948 she was united in marriage to Ralph Lolley in Portsmouth, N.H.  Phyllis was a homemaker and a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a devoted member of St. Mary Church and an active member of St. Mary CCW. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, gardening and collecting dolls – especially Precious Moments figurines and Beanie Babies. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Laurel (James) Amundson; brother, Joseph Caporale; son-in-law, Doyle Gray; grandchildren: Dennis (Tammy) Amundson, Donald (Arlette) Amundson, David (Ester) Ferguson, Dawn (Chad) Templeton, Daryl & Dwayne Ferguson; her great grandchildren: Brandon Crossman, Brooklyn, Samantha & Noah Amundson, Dustin, Dawson, Heighley & Zachary Ferguson, and Brock & Beau Templeton. In death, Phyllis has rejoined her husband, Ralph (1985; her parents; her daughter, Jacklyn Gray and her brothers, James & Jack Caporale. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Phyllis and her family.
