Raymond A. Dudley, 45, of Marshalltown, Iowa, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Funeral Services for Ray will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour before services, where Rays family will be present to greet friends. Memorial contributions may be directed in Rays name to his family. Ray was raised and educated in the Marshalltown school district graduating from Marshalltown High School. Ray was united in marriage to Susan Davis on April 23, 2009 in Canton, Mississippi. He was employed with Tama Pack in his earlier years. Ray had a big heart for family and life. He also enjoyed a glass of Jim Beam every now and again as well as wearing his favorite clothing which were shirts with no sleeves. Ray had a great passion for the sport of boxing. Ray was a silver and golden glove boxer in his lifetime, becoming a boxing champion. Ray is survived by his wife: Susan Dudley; children: Daniel Dudley, Michael Dalgarn, Jared Dalgarn and Jimmy Hensley; Siblings: Alan (Charles) Dudley and Rebecca (Dennis) Dudley Jones.He is preceded in death by his Father.
