Raymond Trusheim

Raymond Trusheim, 81, of Toledo, passed away January 8, 2019, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown.   Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services for Ray will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12 also at Mitchell Family Funeral Home.   Ray was born on February 12, 1937, to Emma and Jakob Trusheim. He graduated from Le Grand High School. He married Lois Laughton on March 14, 1975. Ray farmed and raised livestock his entire life. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.   Ray is survived by his wife Lois and their children: Tammy Trusheim-Rahmiller (Brad), of Marshalltown, Philip (Allyce) Trusheim, of Cedar Falls and grandchildren Isaac and Maya Trusheim. He is also survived by his brothers Rudolf, Harold and Wilbert.   Ray was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Henry and sisters, Helen Luiken and Anna Ash.
