Richard Boucher (71) of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on July 8th, 2015. Funeral services will be held at St. Henrys Catholic Church in Marshalltown, on Tuesday, July 14th, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13th, 2015, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., with a vigil service following at 7:00 p.m. at St. Henrys Catholic Church. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Dick and his family. Richard Alcide Boucher was born to Alcide and Myra (Chaussee) Boucher, on March 8th, 1944, in Sioux City, Iowa. He was raised and educated in the Sioux City community school district. On September 28th, 1964, Richard and Vicky Louise Farley were united in marriage in Sioux City, raising their children and making their home in the Sioux City area, until moving to Marshalltown, Iowa in 2001. Dick had spent his working years at the packing house, working on the line and eventually earning a spot in management. He worked for John Morrell for over 25 years and at Swift for five years as the night shift plant manager until his retirement in 2004. Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and cooking. He was also a member of St. Henrys Catholic Church. Left to honor his memory is his wife; Vicky Boucher, siblings; Juanita and Eddy, children; Richard (Debbie) Boucher, Michelle Mahoney, Nicole (Tim) Brewer, grandchildren; James, Richard, Travis, Nicole, Jeffery, Rebecca, Meghan, Ashley, Courtney, 10 great-grandchildren.
