Richard Burger

Richard Thomas Burger, 73, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sep. 12, 2015 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Richard was born on March 19, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia (Windsor) Burger. Richard is survived by his brother Gary C. (Kathy) Burger of Des Moines, Iowa; his sister Mary Ann (Gerry) Konrek of Port Hope, Michigan; nephew Ryan (Becky) Burger of Grimes, Iowa; nephew Shane (Erin) Burger of Brooklyn, New York; and niece Lauren (Jay) Templeman of Urbandale, Iowa; and 8 great nieces and nephews. A private memorial service for family will be held in Des Moines, Iowa. Memorials may be sent to the Iowa Veterans Home, 1301 Summit St., Marshalltown, Iowa 50158.
