Richard Lifer

Richard Dick Lifer, 65, of 304 South 14th Ave, Marshalltown, died on October 31, 2007, at his home. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. Richard Dean Lifer was born on April 13, 1942, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. He graduated from Marshalltown High School. He serviced proudly in the Army for 2 years and was stationed in Hawaii. Dick had worked at Lennox for over 35 years and was planning his retirement for September of 2008. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed trout fishing and snowmobiling. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Phyllis (Dolesy) Relyea, Arvid Lifer Jr., Linda Lifer-Hurley, Rick A. Relyea and Tamara Relyea. Nieces and nephews, Lori (Lifer) Erickson, Lisa Lifer-Murphy, Scott Lifer, Kellie Peterson and 6 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Arvid Lifer, Sr.
